About

I’m Laura, an integrative therapist specialising in anxiety in women.

I support women who are experiencing overwhelm, stress, or a sense of not feeling like themselves—whether that’s linked to ongoing anxiety, life transitions, or periods of emotional strain.

For some women, these experiences are connected to hormonal changes such as perimenopause or menopause. For others, they are linked to long-standing patterns of anxiety, stress, or a sense of being overwhelmed by life.

My focus is on helping you understand what’s happening beneath the surface, and supporting you to feel more steady, grounded, and peaceful.

My approach

I take a whole-person approach to wellbeing, recognising that emotional health is shaped by a combination of psychological, physical, and lifestyle factors.

Rather than viewing anxiety in isolation, I consider the wider context—how your body, mind, and day-to-day life may all be interacting. This is particularly important during times of stress or transition, where multiple factors can influence how you feel.

My aim is to offer a way of working that feels thoughtful, grounded, and tailored to you—helping you make sense of your experience and begin to feel more steady.

Why I do this work

My approach to this work has been shaped by both my professional training and a growing interest in how emotional wellbeing is influenced by wider factors such as lifestyle, life stage, and internal experience.

In recent years, I’ve developed a strong interest in mindfulness and meditation, alongside a deeper curiosity about psychology following the experience of having children. This has given me a greater appreciation for how much our internal world can shift over time, and how important it is to have the right support during those periods.

I’m particularly interested in women’s mental health, an area that has often been overlooked. I believe it’s important to offer support that reflects the full picture—combining psychological understanding with current knowledge and a more holistic, integrative perspective.
