When anxiety feels more unfamiliar, and you’re not sure why

Menopause & Hormone-Related Anxiety Support

Gentle, integrative support for a calmer, more balanced mind and body, especially during times of hormonal change

Hormone-related anxiety

Hormonal changes can have a powerful impact on how we feel—emotionally as well as physically. This might be during times such as PMS, after having a baby, or in the lead-up to menopause.

During the perimenopause and menopause, shifts in hormones can affect mood, sleep, stress responses, and overall emotional balance.

For many women, this can show up as anxiety, low mood, or a sense of feeling unlike themselves.

I specialise in supporting women through these changes; my approach integrates psychological and biological methods using CBT hypnotherapy, lifestyle medicine and mind-body approaches. I offer a calm, supportive space where we can explore what’s been going on and help you begin to feel more steady again.

I work with mild to moderate anxiety and will always guide you to the right support if you need something more specialist.

How I work

My approach is integrative, meaning we look at your wellbeing as a whole rather than focusing on just one aspect.
Alongside psychological approaches such as cognitive and behavioural techniques, mindfulness, and hypnotherapy where appropriate, we also consider the wider context—how your body, lifestyle, and daily patterns may be influencing how you feel.

Together, we might focus on:
- Understanding what’s changed and why things feel different
- Supporting your nervous system to feel calmer and more regulated
- Finding ways to respond differently to anxious thoughts and reactions
- Gently restoring a sense of emotional balance and stability

Rather than applying a fixed method, I adapt our work to what feels most helpful for you—at a pace that feels manageable and supportive.
